Getting to the Source

I was brought to you with love to keep first baby steps in life’s great

adventure happy and warm.

This nascent adventure was preceded by a beautiful journey from my first stitches to here.

Sailing on the salty decks of boats and curled up in airplanes, the travel

takes us from Corfu to the North of Greece, all the way to Siatista,

a mountain village set in spectacular natural surroundings. Here leather craftsmanship has a long lasting history, both as a trade and to withstand cold

winters and dampness.

I am handmade from softest sheepskin by a family who live and craft in the village.

Now that I am here the journey of life continues,

it is your turn to pick our next destination .

At Moccakini, we have a

Sustainable and Creative VISION of the PRODUCT'S LIFE CYCLE and its transportation.

Our long term vision at MOCCAKINI is to  be as sustainable as possible within the life cycle  of the shoe.

This year, we are making sure that no artificial material is being used for the making of it, including its packaging.

So the shoe laces as well as the  handmade wrapping gift are made of 100 % natural fabrics.

We hope you will enjoy the quality and warmth of MOCCAKINI shoes enough to keep it through the entire life cycle as it's being passed on.

As for the packaging, we imagine it being re-used to store pencils, paintbrushes, threads, or any small creative tool for your own story. ( please do send us photos of  this usage too as  this can also grow to an other project)..

Finally, sustainable transportation is also important, so as we grow, we want to create a sustainable and creative travel, and we are already in touch with potential collaborators who travel by sailing out of of leisure.
